It was heavy hearts we announce the passing of Retired FF Robert Mentrasti on 4/14/2017.
Robert Mentrasti started his firefighting career with the Hartsdale Fire Department in 1985. In 1991 he transferred to the Fairview Fire Department where he worked until his retirement in December of 2016. Robert was more than just a dedicated firefighter, he was a member of the Greenburgh Technical Rescue Team, the Westchester County Arson Investigation Unit, and an avid supporter and fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He will be missed as both a professional firefighter and a brother to us all.
