On Memorial Day in a joint ceremony with the Town of Greenburgh, the Greenburgh Police Dept, The Fairview, Hartsdale, and Greenville Fire Districts, and the Veterans Affairs Committee we honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Special thanks to U.S. Representative Mondaire Jones, State Senator Andrea Stewart Cousins, State Assembly Person Tom Abinanti, County Exec. George Latimer, County Legislator Mary Jane Shimsky, and Town Council Person Francis Sheehan for their inspiring speeches reminding us all the true meaning of “Memorial Day”.
