FIRE SAFETY HOUSE

The Safe Escape House is a two-level home with a bedroom upstairs that

has a window, which opens to a deck with a ladder to the ground. The

first floor focuses on kitchen and household safety. It is a great tool for

teaching all ages the importance of working smoke detectors, sleeping

with the bedroom door closed, developing and practicing a home fire

escape plan, crawling low in smoke and identifying household hazards. This two story travel trailer let the students escape through a window while the room fills with a non-toxic smoke.

CHILD SAFETY SEAT INSPECTIONS -

Statistics show that the vast majority of car seats inspected have

safety defects or are installed incorrectly. Improperly installed seats can result in injury or death to the child they are designed to protect. Child Safety Seat Inspections are offered at the Fairview Fire Department. Parents or caregivers can bring their vehicles complete with car seat(s) to our fire stations. Call 914-949-2828 for a date and time.
